This listing is for an automatic download of one .STL digital file for 3D-printable doll shoe heels. THIS IS NOT A PHYSICAL ITEM. You will be receiving a downloadable file which you may then use to 3D print doll shoe heels using your own 3D printer or by sending the file to a 3D printer who can print them for you.
This file makes a low, funnel shaped heel which may be used to make heeled shoes for American Girl and other similarly shaped 18" dolls.
I have long been wanting to have a heel I could use on my historical doll shoes and after years of looking for such an item to no avail I decided to make them myself. I have designed these heels to assure that the doll can still balance. Because the non-jointed 18" dolls are so flat footed, only a small heel is possible but having a nicely shaped, historically accurate heel really takes period shoes to the next level.
These heels have been designed to fit specifically on the shoe soles of Ann Van Doren Designs shoe patterns as well as the Pixie Faire shoe soles. (One of the listing pictures shows from left to right, Pixie Faire round-toe shoe sole, Ann Van Doren square-toe shoe sole, Ann Van Doren pointed-toe shoe sole.) They may fit many other doll shoe patterns as well with slight modification to the sole shape.
PLEASE NOTE: I do not own a 3D printer and I am unfamiliar with how to 3D print using this file. I send this file out to be printed by a third party for my own use. Therefore, you will need to know how to operate a 3D printer to use this .STL file. If you do not have a 3D printer, I highly recommend the Etsy shop "3D Print Customz" to print the heels for you. They offer a wide selection of colors and offer professional service and quality prints. I have had 100s of my doll heels printed by 3D Print Customz and highly recommend them.
